In addition to Jackson's three week tour of China in July, he's got a packed summer working with some of music's most talented songwriters and musicians.
Jackson has been working with songwriter/producers Rick Chudakoff and Arno Lucas on 4 songs that he plans on recording later this summer. This songwriting team also recently collaborated with Adam Crossley and Joie Scott. Arno Lucas is currently touring Japan with the band Exile playing to packed stadiums of over 60,000 fans as their percussionist.
In addition to this, Jackson has also been spending time in the studio with legendary producers and artists Bill Cuomo and Beeb Birtles. Bill and Beeb have been working with Jackson for several months, and will be releasing an EP of several songs later this summer. The EP will contain new material that the three have written together. Jackson has been at Sonic Sorbet studio in Spring Hill, Tennessee cutting vocals for the new project every day for the last few weeks.
Jackson says, "We're anticipating a bit of a different sound from recordings past. The new songs I've done with everyone reflect my personality in a new light as I've matured as a guitar player. I appreciate every moment with all of the amazing people I'm so privileged to work with. I'm in an amazing position to be working with people of such class and talent. I only wish there were more hours in the day so that I could work on this non-stop."
